Vincla

Terms and conditions

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This is a translation for your convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails, unless this one is more favourable to you.

In short: Vincla is free with ads and has an optional Premium that you pay for on Google Play and can cancel there whenever you want. It is not a medical device and cannot be used to prevent pregnancy. Your data belongs to you (we explain this in the privacy policy). If anything doesn’t seem right to you, write to us at soporte@vincla.eu.

1. Who is behind it

Vincla is a project by Alejandro Agustín García Almodóvar, a private individual, with tax ID (NIF) 48732306K, residing at Avenida de Orihuela 120, 03006 Alicante, Spain. Email: soporte@vincla.eu. These details are provided in compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (Ley 34/2002 de servicios de la sociedad de la información, LSSI).

2. What these terms are

They are the conditions for using the Vincla app and this website. By creating an account, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app; you can delete your account whenever you want. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

3. What Vincla is

An app for logging your cycle, your mood and how you are feeling, seeing estimates of your cycle and sharing whatever you decide with the people you choose (your partner, your family…), so that they understand and support you.

4. It is not a medical device

5. Your account

6. Your bond with other people

7. Proper use

The following is not allowed: using the app to harass, control or harm another person; trying to access other people’s accounts or data; getting around the limits or protections of the app or its servers; copying the app or automating its use; or using it for anything illegal. If someone does this, we may suspend or close their account. If you disagree with the decision, you can write to us.

8. Free version and Premium

9. If you change your mind

You have 14 days from taking out Premium to withdraw without giving any reason. When you subscribe, you ask us to start Premium as soon as you pay, without waiting for those 14 days to pass; that is why, if you withdraw, we will refund what you paid minus the portion of time you have already had Premium, as provided for by law (Article 108 of the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios). You can request it on Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Purchase history → Request a refund) or by writing to us at soporte@vincla.eu from your account’s email address, saying that you wish to withdraw. We will refund you within 14 days of your request at the latest, using the same payment method you used. If you like, you can use this template:

To Alejandro Agustín García Almodóvar (Vincla), Avenida de Orihuela 120, 03006 Alicante, Spain, soporte@vincla.eu: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Vincla Premium subscription. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Account email: [your email]. Date: [today’s date].

10. Premium as a gift and for inviting others

11. Ads

The free version shows Google AdMob ads, always non-personalised and never based on your health data. Before showing any, Google asks for your consent. With Premium there are no ads.

12. Ownership of the app

The app, its name, its design, its texts and illustrations belong to its author or to whoever gave the author permission to use them. We give you permission to use the app for yourself, without being able to copy, sell or modify it. What you write in the app remains yours; we only use it to make the app work, as explained in the privacy policy.

13. Operation of and changes to the app

We do our best to make sure Vincla always works and works well, but there may be occasional faults or outages (for example, due to maintenance or a problem with a provider). We may improve, change or remove features, and we may also stop offering the app. If a change makes Premium significantly worse, we will tell you and you will be able to cancel, as provided for by law.

14. Liability

We are liable for any damage we cause by failing to comply with these terms or the law. We are not liable for health or contraception decisions made solely on the basis of the app’s estimates (see section 4), for what other people do with what you decide to share with them, or for failures of third-party services beyond our control (for example, Google Play or your mobile operator). None of this limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or damage to health caused by our fault, nor your rights as a consumer.

15. Leaving

You can stop using Vincla and delete your account whenever you want, from the app or by email. Remember to cancel your subscription on Google Play as well, if you have one.

16. Changes to these terms

If we change them significantly, we will notify you in the app before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel Premium and delete your account.

17. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in another European Union country, you also keep the protection given to you by the consumer law of your country where it is more favourable. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at soporte@vincla.eu: we will reply as soon as possible and within one month at most. You can also go to the consumer affairs offices of your autonomous community (or those of your country) or to the courts of your place of residence. Vincla is not a member of any consumer arbitration or alternative dispute resolution scheme. There is no arbitration clause: nothing obliges you to give up going to court.
